NJ Future should support an increased gasoline tax in NJ which has amongst the lowest such taxes in the nation and it should be willing to stick its neck out a little to do this. In a comment I (Grace) sent to Peter Kasabach several months ago I listed all the reasons such advocacy fits right in with the goals of NJ Future. Perhaps you would garner more support if you are willing to advocate (after the election, of course) for this action which many people know is necessary but which is swept under the rug. We realize taxes are the third rail in politics but if an organization like yours won’t advocate for it who will?
