Position Available: Recovery Planning Manager

New Jersey Future is hiring an experienced community planner. The successful candidate will be responsible for professional-level planning and implementation support as part of establishing a long-term recovery plan for up to three municipalities affected by Superstorm Sandy. Includes working closely with FEMA and its team of experts, conducting independent studies, assisting with local consensus-building, and identifying and assisting with the procurement of rebuilding funds. Prefer someone with an appropriate college degree, a minimum of five years’ experience in planning, economic and community development or city administration at a leadership level, knowledge of New Jersey’s housing, economic and community development programs, experience with grant writing, and demonstrated written and public communications skills.
