SMART HOUSING ZONES
New Jersey lacks an adequate supply of homes that are affordable to the pocketbook and friendly to the environment. NJF is leading an effort to create a state program to address this issue.  

New Jersey Future, PlanSmart NJ and the Regional Plan Association issued a press release on August 6 urging Governor Corzine not to veto the minutes of the July 17 meeting at which the Highlands council adopted its Regional Master Plan. Read article in the Star Ledger.

NJF Testifies Against Regional Contribution Agreements

Kasabach Appointed to Permit Efficiency Review Task Force 
The purpose of the DEP Task Force is to recommend changes to the department's permitting process to provide more timely and efficient service and enhance its ability to advance sustainable development projects.  The Task Force will develop its recommendations over a period of 120 days.
